We are making changes to the way we pay you. From 1 July 2019 you will be paid through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland monthly payroll process.

To ensure your payments can be processed without delay we need some additional information about you.

What you need to do

Please complete this secure online form by close of business on Friday 28 June 2019.

If the above link does not work for you, copy and paste this link into your web browser:

You can indicate on the form if you want to change the bank account into which you receive payments from RCPI.

Our payroll company Ormsby and Rhodes will then send you a validation email in advance of your first payslip – this is to ensure that your email address works. Please respond to that email. You will then be issued with a PIN for viewing your payslips.

How you will be paid

You will receive payment on the 25th of each month, where applicable. If the 25th falls on a weekend it will be the earliest work day prior to that date.

You will be paid by EFT into your nominated bank account.

Your payslip will be emailed to you. You will need to enter your PIN to view them.

Managing your tax

This change means that your payments from RCPI will be subject to income tax, PRSI and USC deductions as per Revenue Guidelines.

You can update personal details with revenue online and add RCPI’s registration number 0053276Q to ensure correct PAYE tax credits are applied.

Payment rates that apply to you

The standardised rates of pay for medics who lecture on RCPI courses are as follows:

  • €150 per session (less than a half day)
  • €250 per half day
  • €500 per day

These are the rates of pay that will apply to you from 1 July 2019 when you speak at RCPI courses.

Thank you for your contribution to the College and for taking the time to help us deliver postgraduate training and education.

2019/2020 Dates

Your course coordinator in RCPI will be in touch with you separately to confirm the dates on you are required during 2019/2020.
