You can record committee meetings under the Internal CPD Category if the meeting meets the following criteria:
- There must be a clear patient care/patient safety aspect to the meeting
- There should be demonstrable pre-meeting preparation and /or post meeting tasks
- The meeting administrator provides confirmation of attendance
A maximum of 5 credits can be claimed in any one year for attendance at committee meetings.
The CPD credit should be calculated as 1 hour equals 1 credit.
