What is the Change to the criteria?

The change is the time limit. It used to be 2 years post-registration training in recognised posts and now it has been reduced to 18 months.

What is post-registration training in recognised posts?

 This means post medical degree, non-internship posts. 

What is acceptable proof of training?

Acceptable proof of the training is the testimonial form linked in the page this needs to be signed by 2 consultants declaring that the applicant does meet the entry criteria. 

The consultants have to be fully qualified practitioners of at least five years' standing and actively engaged in the practice of medicine.
