If you are not sure which scheme you should be renewing for, email us at professionalcompetence@rcpi.ie or submit a ticket through the "Log an Issue" button in the RCPI Help Centre

  • You can pay your renewal fee online by logging in via RCPI and SIGN IN with your Username and Password. This will bring you to your DIGITAL HUB where you can renew under DIGITAL SERVICES
    Important: When you have made your online payment you will receive an automated receipt which is the evidence of enrolment required by the Medical Council
  • You can set up a direct debit to pay your annual fee once a year from now on - click here to submit a Direct Debit Mandate. Please allow time for your direct debit to be processed and set up.
  • We can invoice your employer. Submit a request to professionalcompetence@rcpi.ie. Be sure to quote your RCPI ID in the message

3D secure on credit card payments in Europe: It is now a requirement that city and postcode are contained in an address. When making your renewal, be sure to take the opportunity to review your address to make sure the necessary details are provided before you proceed to the payment.  Find your Eircode

Online Payments: You may have to enter a passcode, which is sent to your phone, or authenticate your payment in another way, depending on how your Visa Card issuing bank has implemented security measures.

Receipts: When you make an online payment, you will be sent an automated receipt. This may land in a spam or junk folder. To avoid missing your receipt, please add professionalcompetence@rcpi.ie to your email contacts.
