My education activity was accredited by another body

CPD accreditation must be given by a recognised body in the relevant country.  If your activity takes place in Ireland, it must be accredited by a recognised Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Body (PGMTB).

Reciprocity

A CPD certificate of attendance issued by one Irish Postgraduate Training Body will be automatically accepted by other training bodies as evidence of a doctor's participation in that activity.

You need only apply for CPD accreditation to one Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Body

Where an event is of interest to multiple disciplines, all Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies have agreed to mutually recognise and accept the other PGMTB recognition. Therefore, where accreditation has been granted by one PGMTB, further accreditation by another PGMTB is not required.

Multi-Disciplinary events

Where an event is of interest to multiple disciplines, all Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies have agreed to mutually recognise and accept the other PGMTB recognition. Therefore, where accreditation has been granted by one PGMTB, further accreditation by another PGMTB is not required.
