New MPC Framework commencing 1 May 2025
From 1 May 2025, a new strengthened Maintenance of Professional Competence Framework Model will be introduced. The new framework model retains the standards of good professional practice where CPD is a self-directed process, relevant to and embedded in each doctor's own practice. The new PCS requirements are designed to be more flexible and applicable to the diverse roles and responsibilities within the medical profession, offering clearer requirements and guidance for doctors across all types of practice.
